I was born and reared in New Orleans. Attended St. Martin's Episcopal School, The University of the South in Sewanee, TN, a junior year in Valencia Spain, LSU Law, and summer studies in Mexico City. I took the Louisiana and Mississippi bar exams and practiced law for 23 years. I practiced law for 23 years before starting my own legal search business. So far, the work has been great. I seem to make lawyers and firms happy. At least most of the time. I speak Spanish and French, serve on various boards including Ecole Bilinge of New Orleans. In my spare time I play classical piano music and played with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra last year. I also write a column for a local magazine, Inside New Orleans.
