We seek to keep our best teachers in the classroom to ensure every child receives the education they deserve. TST is a 501c3 organization that has raised over $2.1 million and currently operates with an annual budget of over $500,000. We are proud and grateful to be supported by Chicago Public Schools, IMC Charitable Foundation, McDougal Family Foundation, Finnegan Family Foundation, Osa Foundation, Polk Bros. Foundation, Fry Foundation, Square One Foundation, CME Group Foundation, Christopher Family Foundation, Lowenstein Family Foundation, and so many other generous individual donors. We currently operate 40+ TST Impact Teams in over 30 schools throughout Chicago. These teams bring together and empower 150+ teacher leaders who are positively impacting over 11,000 students. The existence of these Impact Teams have consistently resulted in increased teacher retention rates and higher scores on the 5Essentials annual survey. We also host regular EDworking Events each year that serve to mobilize and empower teacher leaders to enact change within their schools.
