The transportation senior sergeant supervises the operation and control of movement for personnel and cargo by air, rail, motor transport and water. Manages and coordinates the operation and maintenance of Army watercraft. Serves as the principal NCO associated with SQI M in transportation companies. Assists in the coordination and implementation of operations, administration, training programs and communications activities. Accounts for location, employment and deployment of organic operating equipment and maintenance activities. Plans and lays out a maintenance shop and facilities. Coordinates transportation actions with subordinate and serviced activities. Consolidates, prepares, reviews and processes regular and special reports of command transportation and watercraft activities.

My new position as Current Operations Integrations Cell (COIC) Operations Sergeant includes all related tasks associated for143d ESC and will be responsible for the operational support for the 143d ESC with 97 units with more than 250 deployable entities, spanning a ten state region comprised of 9,236 Soldiers. The full-time presence of a COIC Operations Sergeant provides direct support to the COIC, which serves as the 143d ESC’s central tasking source; the sole office with authority to release staffed tasking documents to subordinate commands and internal staff. The COIC Operations Sergeant is responsible for receiving informational requests from requesting agencies or staff, distributing these requests to the proper staff officer directorate for action, and maintains copies of all completed tasking messages to the 143d ESC. Additionally, the COIC Sergeant coordinates all command emergency actions.

I help provide logistical oversight and support for the land movement of personnel, food, water, fuel, medical supplies, ammunitions and other life support to military personnel in a combat theater of operations to the Commanding General of the 143rd ESC.

Managed the Orlando Regional Data Processing Center, provided technical support for 200+ branches in the central Florida area and managed all technical support personnel assigned to the central region.
