Econolite is one of the the world’s leading transportation technology companies with over 80 years of leadership through innovation and service. Having spent many years promoting a single product in this space, I was able to offer complete solutions to municipalities and agencies world wide. I immensely enjoyed the opportunity to grow the GRIDSMART brand and product market, both inside the US, and internationally. They are a provider of single camera solutions for video detection and data collection. Working for innovative GRIDSMART, was a challenge worth undertaking. To see the start up acquired by Cubic, was another milestone. So, while my experience enabled me to know the steps to success, the fun of the unknown propelled myself, and my colleagues, to challenge tradition and change an industry. My earlier career is highlighted by the following: built over 200 homes in 3 years with DR Horton, the promotion of a Service Disabled Veteran Small Business into a Mentor/Protege role with a $14 billion DOE contractor, development of crucial DOT/AML projects for a mfg, and the multiple year over year growth of a specialty construction co to enjoy solid financials and competitiveness.An active Advisory Board Member for Street Grace, a group utilizing evidence based demand reduction strategies to eradicate Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, I am a sounding board and strategic confidant to the President and CEO, even going so far as to train and fight in Atlanta’s Brawl For A Cause to raise awareness and funds. Street Grace is driving change through innovative technology and sheer drive.
