AboutI am an 82-year-old retired civil engineer with a profound commitment to community service and a deep passion for historical research. My love for history has inspired many years of exploration, culminating in the creation of a website called The Knowledge Gateway, set to launch later this year. This platform will cover a wide range of historical subjects designed to engage and inspire audiences of all ages. History offers not only a captivating glimpse into the past but also valuable insights that can shape our understanding of the future.The website's content will be primarily free, with a blend of subscription-based material. These subscriptions will help cover the necessary overhead costs associated with producing my articles and continuing my research.Beyond my work in history, I was the founding member and former Chairman of the APM's Planning Special Interest Group.
