I have 5 years of finite element analysis (FEA) experience in structural mechanics. I am currently employed at DJH Engineering Center, Inc. We are a contract firm working to resolve our clients design and analysis problems in a time effective and cost efficient manner.We employ a wide range of tools to accomplish these tasks including: Abaqus, ANSYS, nCode, Mathcad, and CREO. To reduce costs we leverage engineers out of country in Slovakia. Clear written communication is required to effectively coordinate the efforts of both offices. We also write clear and complete reports to document our work to the customer. Prior to DJH I worked at BD medical while attending the University of Utah. At BD medical I was responsible for the design and implementation of cost and/or efficiency improvements to the device manufacturing lines. At the University I focused my study on structural mechanics, finite element analysis, and robotics.
