Hired primarily for DBA design and to map data flow between two applications. Immediately after starting I began assisting in many other areas including revamping the SAN and VMWare environment. After about 9 months I was promoted to manage the department. Currently I am managing the group as well as helping out in both the operations and application side of IT.

● Consolidated 13 Active Directory environments in 20 countries into a single domain● Virtualized 95% of our physical servers in both primary data centers● Lead engineer for all virtualization projects● Implemented a standard infrastructure design across all locations that included a replicated file server with astandard folder structure and permissions strategy, a virtual domain controller, and a combination of remote and local backups.Manager reporting directly to the Director of Operations, managed assets at 51 sites, with over 400 servers, and over 2000 workstations. In this role I managed 5 other engineers while expanding our Active Directory to our satellite offices worldwide. I was the technical lead on several projects including a global server hardware refresh with Windows 2008 R2, various VMware implementations and upgrades, multiple SAN implementations and replacements, and dozens of N-tier applications. My biggest role at Sensient really was the Active Directory consolidation. Over the course of about 7 years we consolidated more than a dozen domains and in more than 20 countries to a single domain, deployed a standard footprint at each location, and improved IT efficiency across the board.
