As the leader of the Office of the Chief Legal Officer (OCLO) Data, Analytics & Reporting Team, I was entrusted with the pivotal role of driving data-informed excellence in collaboration with our legal and compliance partners. This endeavor began to transform the way OCLO supports the business. Given the initial results of the program within the Office of Compliance and Ethics, our team was moved in order for us to provide support to the entire OCLO.Key projects:• Pioneered the establishment of our analytics program, starting from scratch when the team was initially focused on supporting The Office of Compliance and Ethics (OCE).• Spearheaded educational, governance, and communication initiatives that significantly elevated the understanding and utilization of analytics.• Championed and directed the development of innovative data and analytics projects, as well as dashboards that delivered critical insights to our legal, compliance, and business partners. These insights empowered data-informed decision-making.• Collaborated closely with our Technology Team to launch the initial version of our OCLO Data Lake, which is poised to become the bedrock of our future analytics ventures. This environment allows for the integration of previously untapped data sources, paving the way for advanced analytics that will drive our organization forward.

Responsible for leading Commercial Claims Regulatory Assessments for all claims disciplines. Claims regulatory assessments are focused on measuring compliance with regulations and providing actionable results to our business partners. Accountable for working with our legal partners and business units from implementation of the assessment through completion and disposition of an action plan.

Responsible for leading a team of Property Quality Assurance Specialists. Leads Commercial and Personal Lines Property Audits ensuring that all audits and projects are completed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. Accountable for implementing expense management initiatives to ensure compliance with all policies and enhance expense cost savings. Responsible for the engagement of team members and fostering a high functioning, productive team environment.Key projects:- Led the Property Claims portion of the Harleysville Reserve Integration project which entailed the review of over 4,000 Commercial and Personal Lines coverages resulting in the consistent application of Nationwide Best Reserving Practices.- Designed and implemented the Peer Recognition Program for the Property Quality Assurance Team to help increase engagement throughout the entire organization.- Implemented a Peer Review Process that is utilized throughout the audit process helping to create a highly consistent audit review leading to actionable audit results.

Responsible for leading the quality assurance audit process for property centralized units and third party vendors. Charged with analyzing key performance indicators and developing performance evaluation reviews to assist in the development of field staff and third party vendors. Responsible for writing audit reviews and analysis for technical office leadership. Lead projects aimed at implementing new technology to assist in the audit and claims handling process.Key projects:Developed and implemented bi-annual audit process of third party vendor creating audit questionnaire, data capture mechanism and performance metrics.Created and maintained board level reporting tools centering on Hurricane Katrina litigation cases supplying senior management with the data needed to formulate claims settlement strategies.Responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting surrounding litigation claims arising from Hurricane Ike which tracked and projected final loss cost.Member of the team that developed and implemented a process of reviewing catastrophe claims in an efficient fashion utilizing technological advances leading to claims being settled in an expedited manner while increasing overall file quality and customer satisfaction.
