Financial leadership position with a large, geographically diverse team and responsibility for the cash management functions for all legal entities in the US, LAC and Canada. Key areas of remit include:• Ensure all cash management transactions, including intracompany and intercompany financings, payables/receivables, debt instruments and M&A activities are executed in a highly controlled manner. • Identify business transactions creating foreign exchange exposures and coordinate efforts with Treasury partners to ensure exposures are appropriately hedged/cleared.• Design and implement a banking account structure that achieves business objectives, maximizes cash availability and minimizes operating expense. • Maintain commercial banking relationships to ensure best practices are identified and maximize efficiency of operating environment.

A leader in the Global Treasury organization with the responsibility for the capital markets execution of American Express' Medium-Term Notes, Commercial Paper and Equity programs, as well as investment of the company’s liquidity investment pool.* Recommendation and execution of interest rate derivative transactions for the purposes of managing the firms Asset/Liability risk profile.* Maintain investment banking and internal/external counsel relationships in support of capital structuring transactions.* Maintain an effective system of policies and procedures to impose an adequate level of control of issuance activities.* Develop strategic finance initiatives (rating agency presentations, financial solutions) in partnership with key stakeholders.
