Arista Power has been named as a primary contractor and installer of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems by the Solarize Madison County Program. Solarize Madison County is a grassroots effort to help homeowners to overcome the logistical hurdles of going solar and to grow Madison Counties renewable energy workforce. Through Solarize Madison, participants can expect the process to install solar to be streamlined and for the cost to be significantly reduced as the program is based on volume purchasing: the more who participate to install a solar energy system through the program, the larger the cost savings for all participants. Michael has been named Arista Power's Sales and Marketing Manager for the project. Michael’s customer interaction begins with the initial site visit, where he captures issues related to mounting and electrical service and performs a shading analysis through the signing of a contract and system installation. Michael is also responsible for guiding the customer through the NYSEDRA incentive program, submitting the application and tracking progress through approval. Michael provides guidance on the New York State and Federal Tax Credits available for solar PV projects. Marketing efforts for the project include social media management / marketing, online advertising, direct mailers, retaining third-party sponsorship's and coordinating and presenting educational workshops.
