    • Grew my scope and responsibility while at Splunk to a team of 45 people across the US and Europe, managing and recruiting five teams focused on accelerating the SDLC of Splunk's core product.• Migrated Splunk's cloud offering (and one of the larges AWS tenants) to an Open Telemetry-based metrics emission that aligned with Splunk's metrics strategy, but also properly utilized Prometheus where it made sense. This also involved contributing to the Customer Advisory Board as an internal customer.• Evolved the systems, processes, and organization design involving Splunk's internal instance for its cloud offering, which is one of the largest Splunk instances in the world. This involved recruiting, engaging top talent, organization change management (including starting a team in Poland), alignment of processes and technical direction to the business.• Led Splunk's Quality Engineering organization, mapping out a vision and program for their evolution as a platform engineering organization.In my role I really cared about growing people, to the point where I envisioned tooling and process that will transform how engineering managers approach their jobs. That vision captured my attention so deeply, that I voluntarily left Splunk in October 2024 to focus on that full-time.
