Independent Contractor - Hawk's Yachts, Edgewater, Maryland, 2015 to Present BOAT SALES• I handle all aspects of selling boats - from obtaining the listing, through researching comparable sales and active listings, I take photographs, write the sales listing, field calls from prospective buyers, show the boats, negotiate the selling price, attend all post sale surveys and sea trials, negotiate any survey adjustments, and conduct a full demonstration and check out of the boat for the new owners. I am knowledgeable about all company listings, not just my own, and am also expected to be aware of current market trends. I have sold dozens of used and new boats.

I reviewed, evaluated, wrote, and ultimately executed all aspects of requests for international extraditions, or other legal renditions, and for obtaining evidence from other countries. This included provisional arrest recaseload of several hundred cases and I am responsible for the return of over 800 fugitives to stand trial in the Uniquests, preparation and submission of formal extradition documents and prisoner escort arrangements. I drafted affidavits, warrants, motions and pleadings, transmittal letters and diplomatic notes. I routinely carried a ted States. I participated in the negotiation of new extradition treaties, mutual legal assistance treaties, and other agreements involving international criminal matters. I provided briefing materials and advice and briefings to senior Department officials, including the Attorney General. At various times during my career at the Office of International Affairs I worked with the geographic area teams that covered Canada, Mexico and Central America, Eastern Europe and South America. I was also a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Maryland. I worked, with minimal supervision, on a daily basis, with local, state and federal prosecutors and investigators, as well as representatives of foreign governments. For several years I was designated as the attorney to work with the special unit created by the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida to locate, arrest and extradite major Colombian narco-traffickers. We successfully arrested and extradited several hundred fugitives from Colombia. I received numerous Special Achievement and Special Commendation awards from the Department of Justice

I was initially hired as the Division's Security Officer and was quickly promoted until I supervised the unit that handled all procurement, security (both physical and information), office space, telecommunications and contracts for the 700+ person Criminal Division. I was responsible for all of these services for 27 field offices in addition to multiple locations in Washington D.C. I was the Division representative to GSA responsible for the acquisition of the office building that housed most of the Division. I worked with the architect to design the interior of building and reviewed and approved the non-standard construction features that we specified. I did all of this with a staff of 4, while attending law school in the evening.
