Michael Helmicki is an accomplished strategy and business development leader, entrepreneur, and investor. He leads an elite team responsible for improving market positioning, managing and expanding strategic relationships, and executing key go-to-market programs to maximize opportunities for Firm growth across the US footprint. He is a member of the Investment Committee for multiple DLA Piper Venture Funds. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Mr. Helmicki was a Managing Director with Briley Group and a General Partner with Corstone Capital where he managed global investment mandates across a range of industries and geographies including the US, Europe, China and Korea. Earlier he was a Partner with Edison Partners where he focused on growth equity investments in software and technology businesses. Prior to starting his career at Accenture, Mr. Helmicki was a policy analyst and advisor to the Former British Prime Minister, Sir Edward Heath.Mr. Helmicki has served on the boards of several companies including Jiaxing Stone Wheel Company, NFR Security, Cambridgesoft, Celltrion DBI, Polymera, Avista and Igloo Security.
