As Lead Technician my various duties surround the development and realisation of low carbon prototype technologies and associated work packages / delivery. I'm currently upgrading my machining skills following the recent installation of both a 3 axis Vertical milling centre and 4 axis lathe. Aiming for full self sufficiency from design stage through to component manufacture I am making excellent progress.

Gaydon

Employed as a Seek and Repair technician my duties included strip down and reassembly of vehicle / components in order to repair or replace defective parts. My duties included modification of parts / body shell, repairing leather and alloy wheels, glass repair and replace. Full interior strip out and repair, all panel profiling fault code clear and final buy off I became fully competent in all areas of fitting, rework and assembly on all vehicle models.

Honiley, Fen End

Employed by Prodrive my duties include 80% interior trim removal in order to apply an enhanced upgrade. Fully competant in the skilled removal, modification and refit of the donor vehicle's parts including sub assembly cells. I was also tasked with the fabrication of components, rework, audit, build process documentation and design modification. Working with excellent colleagues in teams of two I found it to be highly rewarding and satisfying work.

Nuneaton

Employed as an Quality Inspector my duties included inspection of Rolls Royce and Airbus 380 components as well as gas and oil rig parts using all inspection equipment including preprogrammed CMM. Tasked with regular inspection patrol to ensure best practices were met with regards to correct tooling, documentation and materials being used I held an overall responsibility for ensuring best engineering practice throughout the production area. I also visited customers of the business to address quality issues and component demand.

Lode Lane, Solihull

Representing Prodrive at Land Rover I removed vehicle interiors and converted vehicles to specialistmarket requirements such as commercial , domestic and military applications. Integration of specialist electronics such as lighting, audio and technological innovations. Modification and rectification of Jaguar sports, saloon and various landrover models. I am fully competant in full strip and refit of all models interiors and exteriors.
