Responsible for developing, improving and overseeing the effectiveness of ExxonMobil's worldwide safety and health programs across all ExxonMobil companies. This included responsibility for evaluating, assessing and improving the global Operations Integrity Managment System designed to protect employees, contractors, and communities wherever ExxonMobil operates or does business.

Responsible for business development and operations across China. Result is a 240,000 bbl/day refinery, world scale polyethylene, polypropylene, aromatics and olefin plants plus a 750 service station retail chain for gasoline and diesel fuels. ExxonMobil participates in the JV partnership with Saudi Aramco, Sinopec and the Fujian provincial governemnt

Responsible for marketing oversight, business strategy and planning, and worldwide product coordination for Exxon's global polyolefin businesses. At the time Exxon was #2 in world wide polyethylene plastic tonnage and # 5-6 in world wide polypropylene tonnage.These are plastic intermediates that enter consumer and food packaging and durable goods fabrication processes.

Responsible for managing Exxon's polyethylene and polypropylene business in Europe and the Middle East and for the general management of Exxon's chemical interests in the Benelux. Position included responsibility for two manufacturing plants in Belgium, one in France, and a joint venture in Saudi Arabia together with SABIC. Management responsibility covered manufacture, technology, marketing, sales, and supply.
