My career in facility management started with my childhood obsession for taking things apart and reassembling them. I followed a vocational path completing numerous courses in various trade fields including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and locksmithing. I later completed courses for Microsoft office applications including Excel and Visio which were critical to improving my growing ambition to communicate and manage construction. I have been responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining Empire Beauty Schools for many years now. With extensive experience understanding and communicating construction, managing Empire's janitorial, maintenance, and repair services became areas I quickly succeeded in. Over the past few years, I assumed lease management responsibilities which means I now oversee and participate in every aspect of facility management for all 86 Empire locations. I attribute my success to opportunities Empire provided, an outstanding working environment, and my lifelong need to learn and do more.
