• Managed and directed the operations of the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center which included personnel from the Cleveland Division of Police, the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Safety, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department, Case Western Reserve University, and the Department of Homeland Security• Prepared and implemented strategic plans for intelligence gathering and analysis during special events that served as potential targets for matters related to homeland security• Facilitated and enhanced inter-agency communication and information sharing between local, State, and Federal stakeholders as well as private sector partners as one of eighty fusion centers in the United States that form the National Network of Fusion Centers• Collaborated with law enforcement, emergency services, and public health partners to predict, prevent, detect, and deter criminal activity, terrorism, and other hazards in Ohio • Wrote and applied for State and Federal grants to support the operations of the center which resulted in over $1 million in awards

• Worked with over 60 law enforcement agencies in Cuyahoga County to provide various criminal justice services• Managed and implemented a criminal justice information sharing data warehouse that is utilized by law enforcement agencies throughout the county to include State and Federal partners• Provided oversight, management, and supervision for the division of Criminal Justice Information Sharing which includes Cuyahoga County's license plate readers and mobile camera trailers• Cultivated relationships with public safety and community leaders throughout the county• Managed the yearly budget for the division which includes both county and Federal grant money

• Established a Crime Strategies Unit to provide analytical support at the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office for both municipal and county-level criminal justice agencies• Built a Microsoft Access database to assist in data entry and analysis for several police agencies• Assisted in the building and maintenance of a database to map and track security cameras throughout Cuyahoga County• Supervised and evaluated numerous college interns in the Crime Strategies Unit• Assisted the Northern Ohio Violent Crime Consortium in building a model to help individual police agencies expand their crime analysis capability

• Researched, analyzed and computed DUI data from the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing, the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, and the Pennsylvania State Police• Instructed an undergraduate lab in criminological research methods and statistics• Supervised undergraduate teaching assistants
