Cultivate good vendor relations with the metal side of the company.Coordinate the design, fabrication and purchasing of metals with outsidevendors. Maintain schedules and budgets for multiple jobs and byindividual scope item. Offer field support should the need arise uponinstallation of the ordered material.

Delegate projects to detailing staff and coordinate submittal schedulesper what the project/ PM requires. Track drawings thru the engineering,submittal, and approval process. Acquire field dimensions andcoordinate fabrications drawings to the shop for release. Relay installationdrawing, materials and assemblies with Field Forman as required for workscheduled to be installed.
