Designed a 8-spacecraft cubesat mission to Neptune for optical and magnetic field mapping. Developed trajectory, payload, communications, AODCS, thermal, power, propulsion, and C&DH subsystems over a 7 person team. I was the lead systems engineer working on requirements definitions, and integration between subsystems. In addition, I was in charge of Comms. Organizing data rates and frequency band allocation between the cubesats, parent spacecraft and the DSN. This project covered every aspect of mission design, down to specific components and hardware used for each subsystem.

Materials Science research under Dr. John Mann, working with quasi-two-dimensional layered crystal transition metal dichalcogenides (TMD's). Research started with perfecting synthesis of thin layered MoS2 and MoSe2, followed by experimentation in analysis techniques, IV measurements, and stacking. I worked heavily with Raman Spectroscopy, AFM, and SEM. In addition, I have experience with CAD, creating parts to augment stages, objectives, micro-manipulators, etc. The ultimate goal of this research is to stack TMD's and utilize their electrical properties and create devices used in transistors, material sensors, catalysis, and for use in flexible electronics.
