Michael Herrera, P.E., offers over 25 years of experience in consulting land development projects in Southwest Florida. His capabilities encompass the full development process from Due Diligence / conceptual site planning to construction certification for residential, commercial, and mixed use projects. He has successfully designed and constructed projects within the full array of jurisdictional regulatory permitting agencies, Sarasota to Marco Island. He has experience formulating innovative project solutions, saving clients time and money, for small and large scale projects. Some of the projects he has managed include Fiddler’s Creek, Bonita Bay Club, Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club, Mercedes Benz, Fort Myers Jaguar, among many others. Mr. Herrera holds a Bachelor of Science from the Colorado School of Mines, is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.Clients, past and present, include Pulte Homes, Neale Communities, Lutgert Companies, Gulf Bay Development, McGarvey Development Company, Creighton Construction, Tesla, Ritz Carlton, and many other developers. As a sport enthusiast, a competitive athlete, in conjunction with working at country clubs in his youth, he has extensive knowledge in golf course play, operations, and design. He has successfully permitted multiple golf course redesigns and clubhouse renovations for an array of clients that include, Bonita Bay Club, Grey Oaks, Wyndemere, Windstar, Bay Colony, Stonebridge, Gulf Harbour, and several dozen more. He also has extensive experience in flex space, light industrial, storage facilities, and automotive dealership design and permitting. Engineering comes naturally, building client relationships is what he enjoys.
