• Desktop and field assessment of Queenslands’ biodiversity values on leasehold and other State land, for example in accordance with the Land Act 1994.• Strategic investment conservation planning within Queensland central west region bioregions.• Matters of States environmental significance assessment of applications, particularly major site specific projects requiring EIS approval, such as for mining, electricity and rail; against relevant legislations (EPA, SDPWOA, SPA) and included appraisal of MP’s and offsets requirements.• Support of activities which maintain and enhance the States’ biodiversity values, including development of decision support tools such as Biodiversity Planning Assessments and the Property Assessment Tool.• Provision of biodiversity advice generally in relation to the States’ legislative commitments to land management and biodiversity protection.• Field assessment of biodiversity values.• Staff management.

• Provision of GIS support to EPA Environmental Services (Biodiversity/Coastal Planning), including project and data management and development of mapping products. • Provision of GIS and digital data management & support to clients within offices of the central region of QLD EPA. Establishment of successful work networks between district offices for the provision of digital data and GIS support, including training and project support.• Project management of erosion prone area methodology and mapping for coast between Whitsunday and Gladstone regional councils.• Management of complex spatial data creation and mapping support to a planning team working on regional coastal management planning projects for the Curtis and Mackay-Whitsunday coasts.• Project manager for Curtis Coast and Mackay-Whitsunday Coastal Management District administrative boundary methodology, dataset creation and development of certified map series, including supporting report mapping.• Various client driven projects requiring vector but also raster-based analysis and modeling.• Data compilation and analysis for the Wetland Inventory and Mapping Project in the Central region. • Creation of custom geoprocessing tools using Python.• Development of models assigning significance to coastal sand dunes and wetlands along the Capricorn coast.
