Michael has spent a majority of his professional time (28 years) dedicated toward the managin strategic development, master planning and design of healthcare facilities across the country and around the world. His committed leadership in project management and medical planning skills working with owners, hospital staff, physicians and consultant teams begins in the early feasibility phase and continues with all project team members throughout the entire design and construction process. Michael’s expert management experience is critical for successful outcomes toward delivering quality healthcare projects, achieving operational goals through efficient and flexible planning, design and construction as well as meeting project schedules and budgets. Specific experience ranges from large replacement hospitals inclusive of strategic master campus planning and mixed-use developments to small and complex hospital renovation projects. Clients of his include major Academic Medical Centers, Large Healthcare Systems, Community Hospitals and Government Hospitals encompassing profit and non-profit healthcare organizations globally.Most recently Michael has managed clients and teams on a major new boutique hospital projects internationally in Asia (300 bed high rise for a new women’s & Children’s Hospital in Bangkok -$350M), (1,100 bed hospital in Singapore - $1.45B project cost) and in the United Arab Emirates (300 & 850 bed hospitals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi - $450M / $1.3B project costs). These projects are catering to an elite clientele and resemble a 5 star hotel that delivers world class healthcare services in a hospitality environment - including Medical Tourism. His understanding, commitment and proven ability to work with multinational clients will represent their cultural interests while managing the process in master planning, design, tender/construction documents and quality assurance during construction phase with the team of consultants involved on a project.
