Migrated EKS infrastructure from on demand clusters without auto scaling to multiple node groups running spot instances configured to support AZ-HA along with termination handling for spot instance to reduce down time with spot instances to 0 while minimizing infrastructure costs.Leading project to enable EKS cluster administration at scale.

Consultant for companies trying to evolve and accelerate their business by helping them integrate premier DevSecOps practices. Migrated a companies infrastructure from on prem to Azure. We also upgraded rancher software from Cattle on-prem to Rancher Server on Azure. From there we migrated their deployment strategy from swarm deployments to use Kubernetes Helm Charts for their apps. Transitioned a company's continuous deployment strategy to Spinnaker (Armory's) from Jenkins. We then helped roll out this strategy to all the development teams with minimum friction and extra work for the developers.Set up dynamic provisioning of Gitlab Runners on EKS and set up an in-cluster container registry to use as a pull through cache for rapid builds in CI.

Two year program with two one year rotations. During each of these rotations I am put on a project team to work with in order expose myself to new technologies.First Rotation (Digital Media Dataloader Team): Projects: Created automated stable deployment of Airflow on Kubernetes using helm and terraform, this automation is being used by multiple teams in Nielsen Digital Media in production. Created automation for EMR infrastructure using Terraform this automation is also used by some teams in Nielsen Digital Media in production. Currently I am working on a team migrating our current collection system to a new system written in go that utilizes Kafka. I am also migrating our workflows from Oozie on EMRs running pig spark and hive, to Airflow on K8S running just Spark. One week out of every three weeks I am also on call responding to alerts.Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Terraform, Spark with Java and Scala, AWS, Apache Airflow, Python, Docker, Datadog, Python, Grafana with Loki, Helm, Golang.

Developed a human building interaction mobile app using Flutter that would collect data on the surrounding environment(location based on BLE readings and some user entered data). This app ran on both android and iOS. Created a RESTful API for data intake from the app using NodeJS and MongoDB as the database.
