On Purpose is a 1-year highly competitive mini-MBA programme combining work placements, training and support to help experienced professionals transition into purpose-driven businesses.

Challenge Partners' mission is to improve pupils' outcomes and reduce educational inequality through effective collaboration, enabling every pupil to experience the combined wisdom of the education system. Amongst other things, in this role I:- Designed and implemented a new system to make data from school peer reviews accessible and comparable, increasing the value of their core product.- Led development of a new online tool to make this available to all customers.

UKGI is the Government's centre of excellence for corporate finance and governance.Amongst other things, in this role I:- Led strategy and communications work for £12bn sale of student loans programme (a new asset class). Managed relationships with ministers, permanent secretaries and Parliament on complex issues in a fast-paced and uncertain political environment.- Led the Future Boards Scheme, a new concept to increase the representation of women on company boards, developing a new model to open access to FTSE 350 companies.- Oversaw Companies House on behalf of the Government, providing challenge at board meetings, supporting the Chief Executive and reviewing performance, risks and governance.

Led team of 3 responsible for exchange of low carbon expertise with the Americas and international promotion of UK tool to explore paths to lower emissions by 2050.Amongst other things, in this role I:- Drafted and published the UK Government’s strategy for securing the first global climate change agreement at COP21 in Paris. Collaborated with climate scientists, economists, negotiators and policy colleagues to assemble evidence base and agree approach.- Developed strategies to maximise UK influence in key countries. Worked with the Foreign Office, No 10 and external parties to deliver innovative interventions.

Cross-government lead for environmental policy, working closely with No 10, Deputy Prime Minister’s Office and departments to negotiate compromises and resolve disagreements on complex issues at the heart of the Coalition.Amongst other things, in this role I:- Played a central role in brokering agreement between HM Treasury and the Department of Environment on a new policy to provide home insurance in high flood risk areas.- Produced high quality briefing, analysis and recommendations on flooding, forestry, infrastructure and badger culls, including for the Cabinet Secretary and Prime Minister.

Policy lead for European employment law, including live negotiations on pregnant and migrant workers.Amongst other things, in this role I:- Secured UK objectives in negotiations in Brussels, working with other countries and with the European Commission on pregnant workers, migrant workers and collective action.- Consulted inside and outside Government to analyse and quantify implications of new proposals; then delivered an innovative new alliance with Eastern European Member States.

Responsible for Cabinet Minister's portfolio including innovation, social mobility and space.Amongst other things, in this role I:- Provided advice and support to Minister on policy areas including London's Tech City, UK-wide innovation policy, the space sector and social mobility.- Prepared minister for speeches, parliamentary debates and cabinet committees through written and oral briefing in collaboration with special advisers, press officers and policy teams.

Project manager for Government Chief Scientific Adviser's Foresight project looking at impact of climate change on migration out to 2050.Amongst other things, in this role I led development of future scenarios and modelling elements, including designing and facilitating workshops with international experts.
