About Michael Hoffer

Hello,I am currently an Audit Director at Grant Thornton. I started my career at Grant as an Audit Associate and have progressed to Audit Director. I serve a variety of clients, in the Manufacturing, Retail, Transportation/Distribution Industries and Technology. I also serve assist with the audits of employee benefit plans. I also serve as a liaison for our local training programs assisting with the implementation and delivery of trainings throughout our region, including new hire training. I completed a multi year rotation in our audit training department where I assisted with development of audit trainings. I presented several of these training programs at the firm's national audit summits in Dallas, Houston and Las Vegas.Outside of work, I'm an avid follower of the transportation industry (airplanes and trains) and combine my interest in sports and aviation traveling. I've been to all current active 30 MLB baseball stadiums--but the best sport bar none is college basketball.
