As a Store Operator for 7-Eleven, the primary duty and responsibility includes recruiting and training quality workforce and motivating them to perform their jobs based on the company’s standards. High quality customer service and great food experience must be consistently delivered while maintaining a cost effective operation in a great working environment. Store Operators also have the responsibility of managing the overall operation of the store and they are also in charge coaching and counseling other employees as well as other Managers within their control. They also have to train and develop the store’s team to reach the expected performance and certification levels.

Train and develop partners to demonstrate all Starbucks customer service standards, operating standards and Star Skills, while spearheading partner development and promoting from within. Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements, recruitment, and hiring. Resolve partner complaints and concerns, provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct formal performance and salary reviews, and additional human resource requirements. Maintain Quality Store Operations Ensure all company policies, store standards and procedures are communicated effectively to partners and maintained and followed in a consistent manner. Follow all guidelines to create and maintain the safest environment for partners and customers. Organize work throughout the store in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service and profitable operation. Provides the Starbucks "Service Experience" consistently for all our customers. Demonstrate the 'Just Say Yes" behavior by taking care of all customer requirements. Financial Contribution Contribute toward store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales, manage inventory and cost of goods control and labour costs. Maintain daily, weekly and period financial reports. Ensure all cash handling and cash register function are performed in an accurate and consistent manner. Maintain final accountability for store operations, partner development and financial contribution. Ensure the proper types and amounts of materials, supplies and merchandise are ordered and stocked. Effectively communicates new product information to partners.
