Serving as the leader of the Wisconsin Historical Museum, I set the creative direction and manage development of the guest experience. I provide strategic leadership for the Museum and staff to provide a high quality guest experience that is engaging and educational and that shares the Wisconsin Historical Society’s rich museum and archival collections. In this capacity I am responsible for articulating the vision of the Wisconsin Historical Museum, developing and implementing interpretive plans, overseeing museum operations, formulating and controlling a budget, generating revenue, and promoting the Museum to the public.- Work with program managers to develop creative exhibitions, programs, and educational opportunities using a variety of visual arts such as photography, video, performance, and graphic design.- Provide strategic oversight for all operational and engagement functions of the Museum, including educational programs, exhibitions, and guest experience.- Represent the Wisconsin Historical Museum in television and newspaper interviews.- Supervise and support professional development of 5 full-time and 10 part-time staff.- Develop and support partnerships with external groups, vendors, and stakeholders.- Serve on Wisconsin Historical Society’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Team.- Assist with exhibition development and installation.- Lead recruitment and hiring efforts of Museum staff.- Participate in long-range project planning, including new museum development.

- Developed and implemented multi-year exhibition program.- Helped develop and install "Chicago Model City" exhibition.- Prepared budgets, monitored expenditures, and oversaw production schedules for eight exhibitions.- Coordinated with, and advised designers, curators, consultants and project team members.- Assisted with NEH and NEA grant applications.- Conducted exhibition research, met with content experts and stakeholders, and wrote summaries.- Developed, conducted, and analyzed exhibition evaluation.- Installed exhibitions and exhibition artifacts.- Helped with master plan phase of proposed architecture center.

- Helped plan, research and install exhibitions.- Supervised and managed 11 collections volunteers and interns.- Guided conservation of aircraft, automobiles and U-505 submarine, which included assessing artifact condition, defining goals and objectives, writing requests for proposal and acting as liaison between Museum and consultants.- Aided with research, writing, and editing of content for U-505 submarine, aviation, and automotive exhibition teams.- Developed goals of Museum’s Green Team and wrote monthly newsletter.- Part of THEA Award winning U-505 Submarine exhibition team.- Conducted artifact cataloging.- Created artifact condition reports.
