Responsibilities include:- Long range project planning and facilitating corporate scoping of fleet projects.- Maintaining a current listing of the Nuclear Engineering Department assigned items.- Reviewing incoming work assignments, research incoming engineering work scopes, development of agendas and conduct Department Scoping Meetings, provide updates on major issues.- Supporting the preparation of the Cost Center budget and the Fleet Capital & O&M projects budget and evaluating the needs for project controls.- One of the two Department Corrective Action Coordinators in the department.

My duties, at Dominion’s Surry Nuclear Power Station (SPS), included Visual Testing (VT 2 & VT 3), ASME Code compliance inspection (ISI testing), Equipment Reliability, Predicative Analysis and Periodic Testing Coordination, to ensure regulatory compliance. SPS began their fourth ASME code interval in approximately 2005; subsequently I oversaw the creation of approximately 180 new System Pressure Test procedures and updating of the associate drawings.

I was a nuclear control room operator at Dominion’s Surry Power Station. My duties included operating and monitoring various pieces of equipment (pumps, reverse osmosis units, etc.), water treatment, unit shutdown and startup, refueling of the reactor, handling of taggouts (lockouts), etc. In addition I performed Visual Testing (VT 2 & VT 3) inspections and worked on several of the Operations Special Projects Teams.
