As a Team Manager my job consists of me dealing with a number different tasks. I have learnt to manage and lead my teams performance in both my own role and their role. Within this role I am now more time efficient as I have to not only manage my own time but that of my team, I have also become more organised within this role. I have also been in charge of payroll for the store looking at the stores productivity and ensuring that the staff are paid correctly, this also covers overtime, sickness, holidays and any other issues which may affect in which people were paid as not to create a loss for the store and Society. I also follow and am held responsible for a number of legal requirements and ensuring my team adhere to the correct policies and procedures. I also send and receive emails from different sectors of the Society in order to communicate quickly and efficiently with higher management. In addition I play a big part in community and charity events where I organise and lead the team, such as fundraisers and community work.

This was the first role I had as part of the management team, this required me to work well, leading and supporting my staff to put the Societies needs and customers needs first. In this role I learnt to deal with customer complaints and deal with any issues quickly and positively. Certain tasks meant I had to be organised and effective with time management to ensure compliance and regulations were met. Many tasks required me to learn new skills and abilities some of which meant using new software and technology.

The role consisted of numerous tasks dependent on the area I was working, from general customer service to stocking and filling shelves. The role required me to be quick and efficient with needs of the business and good time keeping of tasks which were to be done. Team working was a key part of my role as a Customer Team Member but also working well independently.

This job entailed people skills and the following strict regulations. The job consisted of preparing alcoholic beverages for the bar and its patrons, following strict food and drink policies such as age related sales. Ensuring patrons were kept satisfied and being able to make suggestions and preferences to their needs. The job also allowed me to enhance my team working skills and independent working.
