Michael Hoober is a trained and seasoned mental health counselor with adults, adolescents, and families specializing in applied developmental and eco-systemic structural family therapy. His research and practice seeks to identify strengths in systems then integrate those strengths into interventions, so to improve the psychological adjustment of the individual(s) and communities involved. He has participated in research with the ASU Preventive Intervention Research Center and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is currently accepting new clients in his dowtown Lancaster office, accepting all Blue Cross/Blue Shield regional brands including Highmark Blue Shield, Keystone Health Plan, Federal Employee Program and Highmark Delaware. Alongside of his counseling career, Michael Hoober has developed an independent record store and two recording labels; satiated a need to learn about the economy via time with Merrill Lynch & Morgan Stanley; and, most recently, has been developing The Lancaster International Short Film Festival (LISFF.)
