Emergency services:Current: Fire Engine Captain serving the U.S FWS. Located in Tx Consisting of several Refuges that I oversee and manage for wildland fire/RX burns. During my day to day operation I oversee several fire employees on the work duties and accomplishments that they're constantly performing every day. When not overseeing the refuge complexes I'm assisting with other functions such as building fire breaks for RX burns in the winter time and continually making contacts with the public to educate them on the growing ecosystem of the complexes. Assisting our Cooperators and local VFD with fire training/suppression. Former: Fire Engine Captain located in the North zone on the California Desert District consisting of approximately 15 million acres spanning from the top of Death Valley National Preserve to the Mexican Border. I have a diverse background in wildland fire program and structure fire fighting. Experience managing dynamic and rapidly evolving incidents.During my 20 year career as a federal emergency responder I have developed my skills in hazard assessment, risk mitigation and emergency response planning through formalized training and by continued application in the field. With my position I provide guidance and leadership while supervising, managing and leading multiple/diverse individual. I continue to foster positive relationship with cooperators and stakeholders. Part-time job: Fire Marshall with Fire Pro Solutions. located out of Torrance CA. My duties are to watch over line workers as a Fire and Safety Marshall to prevent any and all types of Fire ignition. Make sure all job sites are wildfire safe when Red Flag watches are in place. Document and update every hour ICS 214 on current and expected situations that are happening and that have been mitigated. Serve as First line Medical care for all personal on the job site. Attend Tailboard meetings every morning on current work being completed. Give Safety briefing when necessary. Make sure all personnel adhere to all safety protocols and PPE.
