Responsible for ensuring that the quality system is established, implemented, and maintained through personnel training, and that the status and performance of the quality system is reported to the President. He is responsible to the President for carrying out supervising all phases of inspection and quality control of work performed within the limitations of the repair station. It is the duty of the Quality Manager to train, supervise and direct all inspection personnel assigned to quality functions in inspection, functions on proper work and documentation procedures, industry standard and specific inspection techniques and practices to be followed. He will direct and manage the auditing program, He will assure that all quality inspectors are proficient in their functions and will be responsible for maintaining their proficiency. He will ensure that all inspections are properly performed on and all documentation of work performed is completed before a product is released for return to service, and that the relevant inspection forms and maintenance records required for such release are correctly executed.
