A senior leadership role tasked with transforming the Private Banking & Advice business within ANZ. I support a team of 56 talented professionals through a period of customer-centred change to build a market leading advisory business. My focus is on repositioning our offering through a compelling customer value proposition, while redeveloping go to market strategy to realise key efficiency and performance gains. With accountability for the financial performance of the business, I am also focused on building capability and, in turn, the quality of services, uplifts that are set to improve customer experience and service while reducing cost to serve. • Tracking to achieve financial and operational resilience and customer satisfaction targets having set a new vision for the business and transitioned effectively and compliantly to a new operating model;• Created a market competitive value proposition for affluent and high net worth segments, following a quantitative review of advice solutions in line with evolving customer needs;• Strengthened the risk culture of the business, establishing an Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) identifying and summarising the current operational high/medium risks, controls and treatments;• Played an active role in attracting and retaining top talent, building a compelling employee value proposition, co-designing the future culture of the business and agreeing standards and behaviours.

An interim role that resulted in promotion to Senior Executive, I led a comprehensive, customer-led turnaround of the NSW/ACT Advice & Distribution business. Developing and communicating a new direction and strategy, I drove a bold shift in ways of working that provided an intuitive, engaging and secure customer experience. In addition, I reimagined Advice products and services, integrating insurance, super and investment solutions to better meet customer needs and stimulate growth. A highly rewarding role, my team included five directors, 20 support managers and 70 financial advisors committed to transparency, accountability and service excellence. • Delivered improvements in both revenue performance and customer satisfaction, leading and embedding the ANZ Advice & Distribution Culture Change Program;• Strengthened leadership capability and introduced new ways of leading in line with ANZ’s ‘DNA’, running a leadership diagnostic review and introducing solutions to better support people leaders;• Established a market leading Advice and coaching capability with improved diversity in demographics;• Improved retention and engagement of high-performing employees, playing an active role in strengthening the corporate reputation of ANZ.

A high profile leadership role, I led the turnaround of the Commercial QLD/NT business. Building capability and performance through a value-led, customer first approach to financial advice, I executed a turnaround strategy that ensured high quality services and delivery to sales and profit targets. Crucially, I managed relationships with stakeholders in Business Banking, Regional Business Banking and Small Business Banking, driving both referral volumes and quality, and in turn, fee revenue targets. Underpinning my success was a dedicated team of Advisers with up to date market, legislative and regulatory knowhow and a commitment to knowledge sharing and best practices.• Transformed performance to be named Nationally Ranked No.1 Performing business for August 2015, shifting the team to a customer first approach;• Increased averaged sales per Advisor by 90% on PCP, conducting needs-based training sessions;• Achieved a 61% uplift in total sales revenue in FY15 and increased commercial segment revenue by 219% on PCP whilst referral inputs reduced to 60% on PCP.
