Hi, I'm Michael and I'm a WOO'er. Ever since I can remember, I have enjoyed meeting new people and "winning others over." At university, my wooing powers (and a lot of luck) landed me in a relationship with the most beautiful girl I had ever met. This was my first encounter with a Kiwi and also the reason why I emigrated to New Zealand from the States at the start of 2011. I am very happy to say that me and said beautiful Kiwi have been married for 10 years and are raising our two gorgeous kiddies in Christchurch. Since I love to win others over, this led me naturally down the career path of sales and management. I've come a long way since selling furniture at Smith's City in 2011. Back then, I was a features and benefits salesman. In my most recent role as Regional Manager for Jani-King, I was utilising proven sales techniques to navigate complex franchise sales and win new clients in one of New Zealand's most competitive industries - commercial cleaning/property services.Quick fire professional facts about me, in no particular order: - I have 5+ years of B2B experience- I was the assistant manager of 50 staff & $16M annual revenue- I led the most profitable region in FY2022, by generating more-than-double the net profit percentage than that of any of the other regions.- Business Development is in my DNA.
