- Loading and unloading of furniture from the previous location to its new designated destination. - Assist the client in moving the things in the area of relocation and placing these things to its appropriate places. - Take inventories of furniture to assure that there will be no defects and scratches in the load they are transporting.

- Plans, organizes, directs, and instructs recreation and leisure programs, activities, and events for diversified age groups in a recreation center or park facility. - Assist in supervision of activities in a recreation center or park facility and assist in monitoring of recreation equipment, building, and supplies and materials.- Provide customer service and handling of funds in a recreation center or park facility through telephone, emails, web site, social media and walk in patrons and customers for information, program registration, center daily use and rentals.- Ensure safety of participants/spectators and administer first aid when necessary.- Assist in enforcing rules and regulations.- Assist in collecting fees and taking registrations for recreational programs and facility rentals.- Assist in light maintenance of facilities and recreational areas.- May supervise children involved in after-school, summer or other recreational programs.- Handles inquiries and complaints from public.

- Responsible for the overall supervision of the facility, student personnel, participants, and UREC programs while on duty. - Enforce rules and regulations established for the participants and staff members by University Recreation, Winston- Salem State University and for the operation of the facility under the prescribed operating procedures. - Facilitate emergency situations, settle disputes, answer inquiries, and evaluate the job performance of other student employees. - See that all personnel are present and at their assigned areas when they are scheduled to work. - Daily Activity Reports - Recording and reporting of accidents, injuries, and emergency situations.- Continually walk around the facility checking all doors to ensure security, observing equipment for defects, observing participants for misuse of equipment or inappropriate conduct, periodically checking locker rooms for problems, and general encouragement of participants.- Ensure the proper use and care of equipment.- Take responsibility for all keys that access all doors in each recreation facility. Ensuring that a safe and equitable environment exists at all times for all participants.- Ensuring that all participants follow operating and usage policies. - Overseeing preparation, usage, and clean-up for special events and other specific programming.- Maintaining a clean facility.- Be a supportive team player and leader for University Recreation.
