I'm currently working at a great company but I have so much more to offer and I'm really yearning for a position that allows me to do what I love.I excel at three things:1) Seeing the roots of a problem; and2) Innovating a solution for that problem; and3) Communicating exactly what I'm experiencing.All of these talents come from my left-handedness and consequent right-brain dominance.The first two are traditional right-brain abilities but I am also part of a small population (3%) whose language hemisphere is also right-brained.BTW, nobody knows what they're talented at until others show us that the abilities we take for granted are uncommon.Problem Identification:One of the gifts of the right-brain is intuition and with it I can see the big picture, like a bird's eye view.This perspective allows me to see how all the pieces of a system interact with each other; consequently, identifying any logjam(s) is effortless.Solution Creation:Another skill that my right-brain gives me is creativity.Once I know what the problem is, I draw upon my past experiences to imagine an ideal system where the logjam does not exist.Once I see that improved system in my mind's eye, the solution to the logjam becomes apparent.Admittedly, there will be a process of fine-tuning the solution but that's part of the fun and it's also an opportunity for input from others and compromise.Precision Communication:I liken this to understanding things in 3d.A 2d picture has less information than a 3d model, so it takes me longer to "download" and understand all the information I need.But once I do, I so completely understand a thing that I can explain it from all sides.I also draw upon the initial confusion I had, when downloading the information, to inform my understanding of others' confusion regarding the topic.Knowing what people don't understand about a thing makes it very easy to determine where I need to focus my teachings.
