Managed all aspects of pharmacy operations including records maintenance, reporting, inventory control and purchasing consistent with strict regulatory compliance. Supervise staff of up to 21, implement quality-control related policy/procedures providing ongoing training and support as well as annual performance evaluations. Counsel customers regarding medication usage; troubleshoot, investigate and respond to drug interaction inquiries. Accountable for meeting and increasing RX volume sales goals and ensuring that all KPI goals are met at all times through expertise and focus on high service standards. Oversee RX delivery program, MTM (Medication Therapy Management) in-store and on-site flu-shot events. Perform complex billing activities for variety of specialties including HME/DME, wound care, ostomy, Medicare B, Diabetic supplies and supplies for other health-related issues. Collaborate with medical professionals, physicians and staff to provide accurate drug information, manage patient drug regimens and multidisciplinary disease-management efforts. Typically manage up to 700-900 prescriptions daily.
