Dr. Michael Hurst is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Encino community. Dr. Hurst graduated from Long Beach State in 1990. He worked in physical therapy clinic for several years before attending Cleveland Chiropractic College. He received his doctorate in Chiropractic in 2000. His focus on integrative health grows out of more than fifteen years clinical, hands-on experience. He and his staff base their work in a carefully conceived combination of treatment modalities and support so patients can build a healthier lifestyle to stabilize weakened areas and help prevent further injuries, with added wellness education and pro-active therapies. Dr. Michael Hurst has dedicated his practice to offering the finest in chiropractic care and rehabilitative health services to his patients. He has focused his practice on family health, nutrition, sports injury and rehabilitation. Chiropractic care is used by Dr. Michael Hurst as the basis for immediate relief of symptoms, and in the essential first steps toward improved health. Each of his patients is given a Biomechanical Evaluation, utilizing current techniques as warranted by each patient’s own rate of progress. Specializing in both serious and recreational athletes, Dr. Hurst provides careful injury assessments, and programs tailored for relief, conditioning and strengthening to support immediate and long-term goals. He consults with physical therapist and physicians with whom the patient may be working.
