Firstmac is the largest non-bank lender in Australian with a portfolio in excess of 14 billion and product lines spanning Home Loans, Equipment and Asset Finance, Managed Investment Fund and a range digital brand’s (loans.com.au, Savings.com.au, and yourmortgage.com.au).This role assumed overall responsibility for:• Administration of Firstmac’s RMBS and ABS programs• Management of key funding relationships• Preparation and execution of investor reporting for all trusts • Daily risk management • Development of models to manage risk within the business

I was brought into this strategic role to create a Business Intelligence (BI) team and align the requirements of the business with the needs of Firstmac’s expanding data and reporting requirements. Working with key business stakeholders to identify and recommend cloud-based solutions, data warehousing solutions and analysis tools and create the business plan for BI / Big Data rollout out across the business, while continuing to manage the product team. . Key responsibilities included:• Digital process automation• Key stakeholder engagement• Managing geographically dispersed team• Management of product team • Deployment and implementation of required infrastructure • Imbed BI tools and analyses into day-to-day business activities• Data analysis and profiling • Use of visualization tools to tell a story

While in this role I helped drive the expansion of Firstmac from a mono line product provider to a multi-product, multi-brand non-bank powerhouse. During this period Firstmac expanded into Asset Finance, created a Fixed Income Fund, launched a retail brand www.loans.com.au which now has seven billion in funds under management and entered a joint venture with an ADI to provide real time deposits. My role as Senior Manager, Products encompassed the following responsibilities:• Management of the PL • Formulating Firstmac strategic direction for its target markets • Creating the product vision and manage the product development / lifecycle• Developing and execute short-term and long-term product and target customer segment strategies• Chair of the Pricing Committee• Set up an alliance with Allianz Insurance • Strong knowledge of market trends and regulator requirements • Driving a cultural change based on research, analytics and accountability
