Michael is the CEO of Ben Machine Products and Macfab Manufacturing, manufacturers of cutting-edge aerospace, medical, defence and high-tech components in the GTA with over 220 employees, 100 CNC machines and multiple locations. After building the company over several years with his partners, he sold to Exchange Income Corporation, a TSX listed public company (TSX:EIF), becoming an integral and independent division of their manufacturing segment. Since that time, Ben Machine Products has almost tripled in size, adding Macfab Manufacturing as its second division.Michael is the Chair of the Board of Directors at Humber River Health. He is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Aerospace Council, holding the office of Secretary. He is also a Director on the Board of Directors of CADSI, the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries. Michael holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.Michael has been a lawyer since 1996, having centred his practice on the areas of corporate law and commercial litigation before moving into corporate managerial positions and becoming an expert in manufacturing for the aerospace, medical, defence and high-tech industries. He is the author of three published legal books and has taught at various institutions.Being dedicated to healthy active transportation, Michael is the Co-Founder of the York Region Cycling Coalition and a committee member of Humber River Health Foundation’s Team Revolution.
