CurrentInitially founded as a vehicle for IT contracting on the Alpha/VMS platform, Connect Computer Consultants Ltd now specialises in the Microsoft product base with particular focus in the SME space. We have well established development skills in .NET, SQL Server and the MS Office Suite and a well established understanding of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems dating back beyond WIndows XP and Server 2003. As a Microsoft Cloud partner we are able to offer Office 365 cloud solutions whilst our established relationship with Dell enables us to offer Dell hardware solutions. Coupled with our Partner status with Trend Micro, we are well placed to offer new IT rollouts or update existing installations.

I started with DEC as a Field Service Engineer in Central London, supporting the emerging commercial customer base. Progressed through Senior FSE to the District Support group supporting RSTS and from there to the Software Services team.Moved to the Country Support group in Basingstoke supporting VAX/VMS. Following working closely with the Mid Range Systems Engineering team on the introduction of the VAX 8800 I moved to joint that team in the USA in December 1989. From there I moved to the VMS engineering group as a Senior Software engineer working in the security team. After a 3 year term I returned to the UK to work with the VMS engineering team in Newbury, initially on DDTM and later on Alpha/VMS where I secured 4 patents relating to software emulation techniques. My final assignment with DEC was as a team leader in the Alpha Resource Centre, assisting DEC's VARS with product migration
