• Lead the mainstreaming of safeguard instruments and procedures into the project life cycle, e.g., monthly/quarterly meetings, M&E, reporting system of the project, supervision mission by the project leadership.• Organize/conduct consultations meetings with all stakeholders (farmers, communities, contractors);• Integration of environmental, social and safety measures into contract documents;• Maintain necessary environmental and social records and assisting Project in reporting ESMP/RAP/ GRM implementation status to various stakeholders• Identify the potential environment and social safeguard issues in accordance with the relevant national regulation/EIA regulation and WB safeguard policies and procedures.• Coordinate environmental and social commitments and initiatives with relevant government and non- government agencies.

• Coordinated a range of international and national level policy studies and dialogues on social inclusion, poverty reduction and Maternal New-born and Child Health in Nigeria, such as annual State of the World Mothers Report, Nigeria Summit on Nutrition and the Summit on Human Resources for Health. Closely supervised policy papers and publications on Nigeria’s Conditional Cash Transfer for pregnant women and poor people• Developed and managed 4 grant projects with a total budget of up to £20 million about Maternal New-born and Child Health and social development in Nigeria, including a project on budget. Line managed junior staff and supervised external consultants in multi-cultural teams.

• Managed a 60 million Naira Shell Petroleum Development Company grant aimed at addressing the social impact of Gbaran Ubie integrated oil and gas project in Nigeria’s Niger-Delta region;• Mobilized over $400,000 from multiple donors (such as Ford Foundation, Goethe Institut, etc.) to address issues of good governance, social inclusion, youth and conflict risk reduction programs in Nigeria;• Develop and implement the communications strategy for Communicating for Change within agreed timetables and budgets, ensuring integration and alignment with national conservation and marketing strategies, and targeting key audiences to build profile and support for CFC’s work.
