Originally from Long Island, New York, Michael now resides in "The Live Music Capital Of The World," Austin, TX. At the age of fourteen, he began professional training on the drumkit from one of the biggest names in the New York jazz scene, drummer Chris Carroll, where he learned everything from the basics to the advanced styles of Jazz and Latin. Carroll, also a fanatic of music technology sparked his interest in sound recording. After working at numerous studios as an intern and gaining experience as a gigging musician, he was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music to continue his studies in music.Michael took all of that experience with him to the city of Austin, TX where he now is a professional full-time musician. Michael has played with man great artists during his time in Austin and is currently on tour with Soul Track Mind. Michael also has a state of the art recording facility with business partner Eric Harrison which opened in 2016 called Hi Q Recording.
