Work in the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) providing general supply and property guidance pertaining to the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) contract as well as the goals of the Garrison as a while. Serves as the Garrison Property Book Officer (PBO). As the Accountable Property Officer, utilizes the GCSS-Army system to account for and manage the property assets of the Garrison and LOGCAP Contractor valued at approximately $115 million. Maintains formal accounting records and accounts, with authority to set responsibilities to individuals within the Garrison without further direction. Establishes, plan, direct, coordinate and implements the Property accountability of the fiduciary and Garrison hand receipts and meets regulatory requirements for inventories. Appointed as the COR for Property, Purchasing, and Warehousing would monitor, evaluate and ensure satisfactory and efficient performance by the Logistics support Contractor. Utilized the Decision Support Tool (DST) to fill TDA shortages and transfer excess. Work closely with the Host Nations and the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Government on the donation of excess Property and materials. Establishes accountable Property policies through interpretation and implementation of directives from higher authority. Develops and coordinate a wide variety of supply, equipment, facility management, and maintenance management concepts and procedures for implementation.
