Starting as a passionate artist Mike moved from northern Canada to Vancouver in the pursuit of creating better music and ultimately chasing a career in the music business. After several years of working in the underground hip hop scene in BC he became disillusioned, feeling like he was spinning his tires.Leaving the city of Vancouver, Mike settled in the small mountain town of Vernon, BC and set to work building his mixing and mastering business MuseWorks Audio. Over the course of two years, during the pandemic, Mike has grown a steady list of repeat clients and continues to connect and work with new clients, winning them over with his friendly, clear communication style, his professional manner and a polished end product.The success of MuseWorks has brought Mike to a level of inspiration and self belief that wasn't there before. He's now bringing this new attitude to the world of event booking and promotion through his newest enterprise Well Versed Entertainment. While still in it's baby stages Well Versed is an event company looking to change the way live hip hop is done in British Columbia by curating memorable live events, sourcing talented and diverse local artists, paying fairly with an aim to put artistry and positive audience experience at the forefront of each live show.Mike is currently looking to connect with indie hip hop labels who are in search of quality mixing and mastering, artists who are looking to perform in the Okanagan and anyone in the music industry who is looking to shift the current to a more ethical, diverse and profitable space.
