For more than 30 years, Mike has driven technology strategies that led to superior business performance. At UScellular, Mike has directed highly complex network and technology initiatives and projects with accountability for a $700M capex budget. With a transformational leadership style, Mike has inspired teams to flawlessly execute key business initiatives ranging from the successful prevention of cyberattacks, network upgrades, to the digital transformation of end-to-end business processes.Mike oversees UScellular’s information systems and technology as well as all the company's wireless technology, strategy, operations and engineering. This work encompasses network build-outs, network operations, and technological advancements such as 5G, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and network expansions. Additionally, Mike leads UScellular’s information systems, strategic operations program and enterprise program management teams. These teams focus on application development, data warehousing, wireless billing technologies and support for data centers and end users, all of which help associates deliver an excellent customer experience. Mike is a senior member of the Association for Computing Machinery, a member of the Executives’ Club of Chicago, a senior member of the I.E.E.E. and its communications and computer societies and works closely with the 6G Alliance. Mike is a member of UScellular’s board of directors and the NGMN Alliance board.
