Michael began building M.F. Irvine Companies in December 1992 after a successful career in the insurance industry. Under his leadership over the next 25 years, M.F. Irvine Companies continued to achieve steady and successful growth, and lists as its clients some of the nation’s largest and most prestigious organizations in their respective fields. Mr. Irvine’s vast industry experience, as well as that of his staff, were the key to the company’s success. In 2016 Michael and his Team recognized that in order to maintain their Unique Value Proposition in the marketplace, it was time to evaluate the synergy in becoming part of a larger Organization/Team. After interviewing & meeting multiple alternative Firms, Michael & his Team decided to merge their business with AssuredPartners, Inc. (AP), in 2017. Michael truly believes "that the decision to merge with AP has certainly yielded significant value to our customers & employees," a true Win/Win.His experiences in both insurance companies and brokerage firms afforded him the opportunity to gain extensive and in-depth knowledge of the many facets associated with property and casualty insurance, as well as employee benefit programs. Prior to establishing the M. F. Irvine Companies, Mr. Irvine held the position of Vice President of RAK Insurance Services, Inc., a regional insurance brokerage firm located in Santa Ana, California. Before that, he was with the Philadelphia Insurance Companies in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania as a Sales Executive, dealing with a diverse client base. In each of these positions, Michael achieved recognition as a knowledgeable and innovative leader in the insurance industry.Michael is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and has achieved varied levels of certification and education in the insurance industry, which he continues to actively pursue. In addition to his professional endeavors, he is deeply involved with several community and social service organizations that support the positive development and education of children. Michael is married to his wife Lisa with four children.
