Created and Led a team of Global Technology Architects responsible for bridging the gap between Product and the field Technical Sales teams. The team functioned as a combination field PM / Overlay team role. Primary responsibilities were:Customer Facing Deliverables:-Demonstrations / Discovery-Providing implementation guidance-Strategic deep-dives for domain-specific products-Beta enrollments-Participation in Sales EscalationsGTM / Enablement Deliverables-Participation in domain-specific strategic planning sessions with Product-Regular delivery of internal assets to enable field with best practices, tips, and tricks-Collaboration with UX Research and Design-Preview marketing messaging where appropriate-Regular delivery of public-facing marketing assets-Collaborate with Strategic Architects to define specific outcomes during implementation, etc.

Led a team of Consultants based in North America, Managed team workloads, establish peer / executive relationships across the larger organization to improve engagement effectiveness and success. Participate and present in executive QBRs. Executed continuous review and improvement of team engagement models and operational focus to retain effectiveness, quality and success.

Founding member of the first New Relic field team focused on TechOps. Assisted in strategically defining and redefining the team charter, and hiring internal and external resources to build the team. Engaged as a strategic pre-sales overlay resource focusing on the largest and most strategic Enterprise Operations/SRE focused opportunities. Strategically engaging with potential and existing customer executive teams alligning vision and strategies. Demonstrating and assisting practitioners in deployments and advanced customizations. Collaborate weekly with product teams to understand product roadmap, and bring what we gain from the field to their teams.

Responsible for managing the technical activities across 13 global enterprise accounts. Develop and execute strategic technical account plans. Completed transition of Global Enterprise accounts within 10 weeks of onboarding. Developed New Relic training / enablement courses for all offerings and delivered them internationally. Developed several New Relic integrations. Create internal blog posts covering competitive and technical topics for my peers and colleagues. Worked with customer engineers and architects to deploy and configure solutions, create field built integrations, and agents in Java, Perl and Python.

Manage a team of Analysts, and Data Scientists that provide solutions to Blueshield Operations and Business teams. Manage vendor relations, departmental budget.

Manage and continually improve outcomes with existing BSOC toolsets through problem management work. Drive the establishment of enterprise process and policy around implementation of these tools for infrastructure and application performance monitoring as part of problem management, moving the needle to the left for event management.Act as enterprise point person for projects as they relate to monitoring.  This includes but isn't limited to major new platform implementations or any project that requires design engineering presence.  Works with design engineering and enterprise architecture teams to ensure instrumentation and monitoring are part of project plans.Develop and deliver programs to drive continuous improvement in the monitoring space, as evidenced by reductions in false positive events and decreases in critical events.  Drive these programs to success through cross-functional work within BSOC and across IT operations. Develop automated reporting for IT operations dashboards and deliver to BSOC for maintenance.  This includes defining and delivering any integration with external systems that may be required and/or coordination of that work.

Sales support, including presentations, proof-of-concepts, and discovery sessions. Post-sales support of IBM Tivoli software and services including working with clients to develop monitoring strategies, developing and deploying monitoring solutions. Developing solutions using Agent Builder. Currently focused on deployment of SaaS Application Performance Mangemen (APM).

Oroburos Systems provided systems management and automation consulting services to SMB and fortune 500 companies for 7 years. Sutter Health, California ISO, Blockbuster, Disney, and many more were clients who hired and benefited from our experience and expertise. Oroburos was disolved in 2007.
