Through leading key business outcomes in the private sector, I learnt how to deliver results and create adaptive, capable organisations. I had to relearn how to operate in the public sector to deliver different outcomes. In both cases I found being surrounded by supportive and capable people was the key. I have always been fascinated by nature, culture and business and I have held a number of community, commercial and non-commercial roles linked to this. I am a Trustee of my local Marae, Hau Ariki and Chief Operating officer for Rangitane Tu Mai Ra Investments.I have experience in NZ regional growth, both at a regional business and economic development level and as a funder in government investment roles. I have held senior leadership roles and international experience in Lion Nathan, Nike Inc and Icebreaker.
