I lead the strategic expansion of Tesla's body repair business across the EMEA region, helping us grow from 3 locations into a major player in EV repair. As former president of CU Engineers in Action I helped build pedestrian bridges in developing communities to alleviate poverty caused by rural isolation and teach engineering through experiential learning.I led workshops on construction safety, leadership, cross cultural communication, and grant writing. I acted as a technical resource during the structural design process, and brought in over $200k in grant funding and donations during my tenure, double the amount received in prior years. I acted as director of research in Bolivia in the summer of 2018 and helped complete a 105-meter bridge for the community of Chosco. In 2019, I traveled to Mathangeni, Eswatini as Director of Cultural Relations and assisted in constructing a 69 meter bridge.

At Arup, I worked as a lighting designer and illumination engineer to bring beauty and efficiency to the built environment. I worked on multiple projects that exposed me to the process of project delivery from schematic design to construction documentation across industries including education, healthcare, planning, and commercial development. I conducted research with the Advanced Technology and Research group on enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity through tunable lighting design.I studied and presented on the applicability of VR and AR tech to architectural lighting design development and client interaction.

The University of Colorado Boulder is a global leader in climate and energy research and over 86% of students and faculty feel that it is important for the university to maintain a commitment to sustainability. Only 30% of students indicate that they know what sustainability lifestyle habits are and how to put them into practice. In my position as sustainability outreach liaison, I worked through peer to peer mentoring to educate the CU community and quantify the sustainability impact of environmental leadership programs. I led conversations with underclassmen about their goals related to sustainability and recorded responses through a survey. Through follow up conversations, I could track change between conversations to measure the carbon savings resulting from the behavior change our program created. Over a single semester, over 616,000lbs of CO2 was saved as a direct result of my education initiatives and the support of my supervisor and outreach colleagues.

At Tent Guild Engineering I designed experiments and fabricated components for a collapsible photovoltaic array engineering prototype for NASA. I collaborated with 5 team members and a postdoctoral researcher and was the only team member unaffiliated with aerospace engineering prior to the project. The collapsible photovoltaic design minimizes the volume consumed in a launch vehicle while maximizing exposed surface area in space. I contributed to a research article published by NASA on this collapsible solar technology.

I was awarded a Boettcher Foundation Collaboration Grant to support Dr. Chad Pearson in the research of centriole biogenesis. I directed the study of basal body protein integration through fluorescence microscopy studies on Tetrahymena Thermophila, Bio-Digital modeling, and animation.

At the World Trade Center, I worked as a consultant to Developers and Architects and collaborated on the design of the New World Trade Center Denver Global Campus as a stakeholder analyst. I represented the voice of students, entrepreneurs, and young business people across the state of Colorado as key voices in the development of the global campus and prepared briefings on the structures and amenities that facilitate the next generation of international exchange.I drafted Certificates of Free Sale and Certificates of Origin documents and work with international and domestics groups in need of trade services.

Craig Hospital is a world leader in Spinal Cord and Traumatic Brain Injury treatment. As a PT volunteer assistant, I worked directly with paraplegic and quadriplegic patients through aqua therapy, electrostimulation, and walking assisted therapies to improve their mobility and quality of life. I volunteered over 100 hours at Craig hospital and was given authority to help develop patient rehabilitation plans and assisting with volunteer coordination and onboarding.
